If your wife attends the LLL Conference, have her drop by and visit us at our NFPI exhibit. The big news is our blog which started today at http://nfpandmore.org/wordpress/. Topics will include Church teaching, eco-breastfeeding, NFP, at-home motherhood, and the culture in which we live. Please join us in spreading the word and in prayer that it will be helpful to those who view it.

[...] I’m not normally one to toot my own horn, but it’s not every day that someone who is arguably a key voice for the culture of life, natural family planning, and natural family-raising, comments on a blog post by some schmoe in northwest Georgia. So, to be brief, Sheila Kippley, of NFP International (author (or co author) of great books like The Art of NFP, Breastfeeding and Natural Child Spacing, and more) commented on my blog post from a few days ago. In her comment she mentions that she’ll be speaking at the big La Leche League International Conference in Chicago this July. This is something my wife is hoping to be able to attend, but I just can’t due to work obligations.
Wow! Thanks for commenting on my post, Sheila Kippley! As you may have guessed, looking at my other posts, my wife and I are truly fans of your work and it's helped grow our relationship between each other and the Church. I surely never expected to see a name like yours on a comment on my blog!

Thanks for claiming breastfeeding as a form of NFP. At www.nfpandmore.org we have a free, short, easy-to-understand NFP "How-To" manual that teaches the Seven Standards of eco-breastfeeding plus systematic NFP. Part 3 on ecological breastfeeding has received the most praise. I am pleased to speak on this topic at LLL's World Convention celebrating their 50th Anniversary this summer. Regarding the Catholic aspect on this issue, your readers might be interested in my latest book, Breastfeeding and Catholic Motherhood. Here one gets the spiritual support for breastfeeding from Church teaching, encyclicals, Scripture, the Pope, clergy, etc. plus practical support.
